Assassin a.k.a Agent Sasco is recognized as a bonafide hitmaker and one of the best deejays to have emerged on the Jamaican dancehall scene during this past decade He has released a bevy of hits such as: No Boring Gal, Idiot Ting, Jah Guide, Project and Wha Do Dem Guy Deh; and has built a solid catalogue. The former Spragga Benz protégé, excelled in the arts at Camperdown High where his clever phrases, slangs and brilliant wordplay became the foundation for a successful career as a lyricist, deejay and eventually a musician and producer. In 2003 Assasin’s signature slogan, “Versatile” had a lasting impact on dancehall lovers; and after amassing more hits like: From We A De Roughest; How We Roll; Girls Gone Wild and Step Pon Dem, his fan base increased to include an underground following. Avoiding lyrical feuds, Assasin chose to strive for international success by mastering the art of giving the dancehall audience more uplifting and positive messages without losing the high entertainment value.
