Sustane Biography

SUSTANE, born Vincent Livingston in Islington, St. Mary Jamaica, is a Jamaican reggae artist and songwriter. SUSTANE is one of the new leading artist’s on the dancehall scene. Explosive with his stage presence, creative with his lyrical content and definitely knows how to please the crowd stated by his fans.

SUSTANE’s love for music was obvious during his years in school in Kingston, Jamaica where he began his professional musical career. He participated in school talent shows and anything he could to showcase his talents throughout high school including entertaining his neighbors, friends, family and anyone else who would listen. He expanded his knowledge of the art by observing the veterans and while not imitating them he soaked up all he considered would be valuable while creating his own unique style. He has worked with many producers such as Dj Karim, Black Spyda, Seanizzle records, Kool Face, King Jammys just to name a few. When SUSTANE got together with Donovan Bennet AKA Don Corleon, his popularity soared and he was the major force in crafting his talent.

SUSTANE has performed throughout the USA and internationally including England, Canada and the Caribbean. He performed at the 2010 and 2011 Montreal Reggae Festival and will be returning again this year. SUSTANE also performed in Ottawa on the Munga Honurable tour and he just wrapped up a tour in April in Nicaragua. This success has propelled his popularity by securing him a spot on many major events and more in the works.

SUSTANE is best known for his singles TALKIE TALK, BEND OVA, BADDA MAN FI DEM, DWEET YA SO. He has collaborating with Beenie Man and Liquid on the “SWAG KING” single. He has many singles lighting up the airwaves, increasing his popularity and expanding his fan base. SUSTANE is currently in the studio working on a new single called “Tan Gud” and it’s expected to have heavy rotation on the airwaves. With his positive energy, persistence, his love for music and down to earth personality he will definitely be in this industry for many years to come!
