Montreal International Reggae Festival 2015 - Media accreditation criteria
Due to an always increasing demand from media, the MIRF management has had to review its accreditation Policy.
For the 12th edition of the MIRF, here are the medias that will be accredited:
TV
News and feature crews of recognized local, national or international television broadcasters, up to 3 technical passes per crew.
* This category does not include internet television stations, unless the producer can prove the station has over 10,000 single views per month.
Radio
Community and campus
The number of passes for our radio partners has been limited to 2 passes per specialized program, or a maximum of 10 passes per station, as established by the management.
* If any station or particular program would like to broadcast from the site, please take arrangement with management asap.
Commercial radio
2 passes per commercial radio team.
* If any station or particular program would like to broadcast from the site, please take arrangement with management asap.
Print media
Daily papers: one journalist and one photographer per media, per day.
Magazines: one journalist and one photographer per magazine that has printed an advance piece on MIRF 2015, per day.
Internet media
Blogs: only major blogs will be accredited this year. The demander will have to supply proof of total viewership (minimum of 10,000 single views per month).
Internet TV: only major internet TV stations will be accredited this year. The demander will have to supply proof of viewership (minimum of 10,000 single views per month).
* Please note that all media, even those who have been accredited in the past by the MIRF will have to conform to these new accreditations criterias.
