On the strength of this momentum, Kees formed his own group in 2005 with the intention of composing his own music. Along with his brothers : Hans (drums), Jon (guitar) and his best friend Riad Boochoon (bass), Kees was able to realize his aim of working with a band, writing his original material and subsequently gain international appeal.

Recently recorded songs in collaboration with Maxi Priest and Bishop Lamont, will be released later this year.

The musical fusion of Kes’ unique blend of R & B, calypso, rock and soca/reggae rhythms has been described as the “Caribbean Pop.” This style has given the group the opportunity to become a household name in Trinidad and Tobago; and has thrust them into the limelight across the Caribbean circuit, including in Miami, New York and Los Angeles.
