Since emerging on the Reggae music scene, Khago - born Ricardo Gayle, has stood out as one of the leaders of a new generation of entertainers championing Reggae music in the 21st century. His incredible charisma and impressive repertoire of dancehall and reggae songs have paved the way to success for this young dancehall artist whose interest in music began at age 16. Citing Mr Vegas and Spragga Benz as his greatest influences in the music industry. Khago has been in top form, igniting stages and picking up international award nominations over the past three years. Breaking onto the scene after snagging top honours for the best video in the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission’s (JCDC) annual Popular Song Contest in 2006 with his entry, Only If You Know, Khago started building up a fan base amongst mainly youth. His dynamic stage presence during the JCDC school tours catapulted him into the category of “successful sought after Reggae artists”.Working with seasoned producers like Sly Dunbar and Marlon Young, Khago’s most popular hits include: Caan Cool Caan Quench, Nah Sell Out, Tun Up De Ting, Bad Mind Ah Go Kill Dem, Been There and Lonely.
